Library Staff Members Earn Pins and Achieve Awards

Six library staff members received service pins a the recent Recognition Luncheon:

5 Years: Jody Hanshew
10 Years: David Baber, David Lyons, Robert Vejnar
15 Years: Janet Kirby
25 Years: Jane Caldwell
35 Years: Carrie Hayden

That’s 110 years’ worth of library experience!

In addition, two librarians received awards at the Fall Convocation.

Lorraine Abraham, CIO and Director of the Library, received the Maiden Award “in recognition of unusual academic or administrative achievement” at Emory & Henry College.

Jane Caldwell, Assistant Library Director and Reference Librarian, received the Faculty Travel Grant as “the full-time, non-retired faculty member or administrative officer holding faculty status who has served the College for the longest period of years.”
